Go someplace you’ve never been before!
Walk away quietly in any direction and taste the freedom of the mountaineer. Camp out among the grasses and gentians of glacial meadows, in craggy garden nooks full of nature’s darlings. Climb the mountains and get their good tidings, Nature’s peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees. The winds will blow their own freshness into you and the storms their energy, while cares will drop off like autumn leaves. As age comes on, one source of enjoyment after another is closed, but nature’s sources never fail.”

The Great Outdoors offers a wonderful retreat from the hustle and bustle of city dwelling. From scaling peaks to re-invigorating in cool crystal clear waters from a waterfall, to soaking in a natural hot spring after a long hard day of white-water rafting.
Hard work always appeals to motivated individuals who like to challenge themselves. Especially when it test their limits somewhat, but not too much. Not all of us are naturally endowed to tackle the oxygen-starved peaks of the Himalayas, or the harsh deprivation required for a month-long trek through the Atacama desert, or the rafting through the swift waters of the Grade 5 River Moriston.
At Team Spreo, we offer moderately difficult but achievable pursuits that are ideally suited to the aspiring adventurer. So start your journey of self-actualisation now!
Day Trek to the 513m Gunung Panti
SGD50

The price for this trek includes private transport, light lunch, and travel insurance. The next scheduled trip to Gunung Panti is on 8th October 2005. Please contact us if you would like to join us and we will furbish you with a detailed itinerary.
Most participants would rate this tiny mountain in Kota Tinggi, Penisular Malaysia, as a simple trek. One of the highlights of this trek must be the scaling of the final 30m rock face which looks deceptively daunting.
The actual ascent and descent will only take at most 6 hours at a leisurely pace. It offers the perfect platform for the uninitiated to kickstart their mountaineering aspirations.
After the climb, we will let our participants freshen up at the nearby Kota Tinggi Waterfalls before traveling to an Orang Asli kelong restaurant at Pasir Gudang for a sumptuous seafood dinner to replenish those expended calories!
The seafood dinner is quite affordable and should not cost more than RM300 for a group of 10. At RM300, you get a rather lavish dinner that includes at least 3kg of fresh crabs, 2kg of prawns, 1kg of clams, a huge fish, vegetables, and drinks!
Check out the writeup on our recent Gunung Panti trek to see how much fun our participants had.
If you have Windows Media Player 9 and above, download these video clips from our last trek on 30th July 2005 showing the small stream at the start of the trek and of the participants climbing down the 30m of daunting slopes near the summit.
